We Do Not Allow Transfer of Bibs

Your race registration and bib are non-transferable. Here’s why:
Every participant needs to sign our waiver during registration. Failure to sign puts you (the entrant), the “new” participant, and us, the race directors, at risk for denial of insurance claims if an accident should occur

This is a safety liability, as the emergency contact (on the back of the bib) will be incorrect since it will be your ER contact, not the other participant’s ER contact

• Results could affect Age Group awards, as the new participant may be in a different category in age group and/or gender

If you are unable to attend our event, we can defer your entry, or you can run it virtually. Please contact us by Thursday, February 5, at info@stpetersburgdistanceclassic.com

This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable, except for those athletes who purchase the “No Questions Asked” Refund Policy. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, such as a natural disaster or emergency, or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the event’s details without prior notice.

ABOUT OUR RACES

I ran in the St. Petersburg marathon last weekend and wanted to provide some feedback.
– The weather was amazing!  I traveled from Minnesota, so the weather was perfect and such a treat after running in really cold temps all winter.
– The course was great.  I loved the loop in the first five miles.  And running through the city was fun.
– The water stations were well-positioned and well-staffed.
Overall, I really enjoyed the run – and I thank you for hosting it!
